1) Buat Calibration Curve (based on standard)
2) Determine concentration of each sample
- Based on the retention time for caffeine which is 7 min
- Use the area to determine the concentration of caffeine in each sample. (use the equation y=mx+c)
3) Determine the accuracy of the techniques
- Each concentration value is multiplied with dilution factor (the answer should be the same for each sample).
- Check for any deviation and discuss the reasons in discussion
4) Find the permissible concentration of caffeine in the drinks (search the internet)
- Compare the concentration of caffeine in sample in the guideline.
